Consciously Creating in Nature
Proyecto Espiral is a pair of enthusiastic teachers committed to a conscious and natural education by adapting our teaching to the times in which we live. We celebrate uniqueness, inspire a love for learning and nature, and promote global thinking. This is a bilingual program provided by native Spanish and English speakers, and is designed for children ages 0-6. We accommodate a Full-Time schedule (ages 2.5 to 6), as well as a modified transitional Toddler Friday Program for children ages 0-2 1/2 years old plus a Companion. This is our 5th year providing holistic and academic education in a natural and nurturing environment in Cerro Negro, Orgiva.
Incorporating 30+ years’ experience in Early Childhood Education spanning 3 continents, we weave tenets of Montessori, Waldorf, Forest Schooling and Emergent curriculums into our unique curriculum based on what we consider best practices for the development of the children. We plant this seed, our Espiral in the natural beauty of the Alpujarra. Harmoniously fusing in total communion with nature allows us to foster an awareness of the unity with life and all living things.
What We're About
Proyecto Espiral provides bilingual education for children 2.5 - 6 of age and functions under the Junta de Andalucia as "Asociación Somos Espiral". Ratio of children to adults is 7:1.
